Neptune Facility Overview
Celerion has had a strong presence in Neptune, New Jersey for over 20 years. The facility offers a complete array of clinical research services with 130 beds and an intensive care unit with 24 beds. The 40,000-square-foot, three unit facility is located less than two hours from four major East Coast airports, enabling easy access for clients. It is also less than half a mile away from the Jersey Shore University Medical Center—the regional trauma center.
Celerion has a team of over a 100 qualified employees with a strong background in clinical research. Specializing in Phase I and First-in-Human (FIH) studies, the team applies globally proven processes and best practices to all stages of a client’s program. The team in Neptune uses their extensive experience in clinical operations, from recruiting to final report, to ensure that no matter how complex the study, high-quality data is delivered to meet clients’ timelines.
By drawing on the depth and breadth of their medical and operations knowledge, the team at the Neptune facility has used a customized approach to provide a novel solution for unique study requirements. Almost 50 percent of the programs conducted in the Neptune clinic are specialized studies including: IV administration, renal impairment, punch biopsies, device chamber studies, skin assessment and endotoxin challenges. They also have a great deal of experience with long term studies, having conducted many with over 30 days confinement.
